OUR STORY
Founded by Fallan and Colby Lowe, our nonprofit grew from lived experience in recovery and a desire to help others find hope.
We know how much it matters to have someone believe in you. Today, we invite individuals, churches, businesses, and recovery communities to join us in showing up for our neighbors.
MEET THE TEAM
To show up. To serve.
To love. To bring hope.
Behind every mission is a group of people who said yes—to serving, to loving people where they are, and to believing a person’s circumstances do not have to be the end of their story.

Carrying hope through lived experience.
I spent a lot of years in Addiction, Starting at 14 years old, Grew up in an alcoholic family with No God and No Church in sight…… I went through my first treatment center at 22 in 2000…… i spent 90 days sober and began drinking and Drugging again…… At 27, On Jan. 15, 2005 after countless trips to jails and hospitals I overdosed for the last time On a Couch in South Louisiana….. I woke up and Had No idea of God, No Friends or Family checking in on me, and No Hope…. I cried out to the ceiling for Help….. and God answered ….. I made it to a Recovery Meeting and Have never looked back unless it was to share My experience, strength and Hope with someone…. God got me to recovery, Recovery got me to spirituality, and Spirituality has Brought me to Closer Jesus….. I spent a lot of my Time as A Gypsy moving and not setting roots so i could move quick…. Some of that time was Homeless in different capacities….. My Mission is to Carry Hope and My Story to anyone i can Help, Spiritually, Emotionally and Mentally…. Delivering Hope Any way I can!

“I Show Up, because somebody showed up for me...”
I am a wife, mother, woman in recovery just shy of 2 years, and follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for serving people who are hurting, struggling, or simply need to know they haven’t been forgotten. My own journey through addiction, grief, homelessness, brokenness, and recovery has given me a deep understanding of the power of hope, grace, and having someone show up when life feels impossible. Through recovery, faith in Jesus, and service, I have found a calling in helping others see that their story isn’t over. I believe we are called to be the hands and heart of Jesus, meeting people where they are with compassion, dignity, and no judgment. I’m passionate about outreach, connecting people with resources, and creating opportunities for others to experience hope while expressing the love of our father in heaven. I want to be a part of helping others succeed who think they are too far gone, too broken beyond repair or redemption… Your story is still being written, and as long as the master holds the pen He is the author and He has the final say. His grace is sufficient for ALL. I Show Up, because somebody showed up for me...

“I am saved by grace, redeemed by Jesus, and ready to serve.”
For 10 years, I was lost in addiction. I came from a long line of addiction, and I found myself caught in chains I couldn't break. I went from injecting drugs and living a life controlled by darkness to becoming a husband, a father of three beautiful children, and a man who has surrendered his life to Jesus Christ.
Two and a half years ago, I was lost. Today, I'm living proof that God can take a broken man, restore his life, and give him a purpose greater than himself. I don't share my story because I'm proud of who I used to be. I share it because I'm proud of what Jesus has done in me.
Now, my heart is to serve the people who are still struggling, especially those in the homeless community. I know what it's like to be lost, to feel forgotten, and to need somebody to show you a little love. I know what it's like to be in a place where you can't see a way out.
I want to be the hands and feet of Jesus to people who feel like the world has turned its back on them. I want to offer hope, compassion, a helping hand, and most importantly, the love of Christ. I want people to know that their past does not define them, their circumstances do not disqualify them, and they are never too far gone for God to reach them.
If Jesus can change my life, He can change anybody's life.
I was once lost in the darkness. Now I'm living to shine the light of Jesus into the darkest places. This isn't about me. This is about Kingdom work. This is about loving people right where they are and showing them what God can do.
I am saved by grace, redeemed by Jesus, and ready to serve.

Sharing the hope of a new beginning.
My name is Kelsie, and I am living proof that God can take you from the darkest places and bring you into His light. I know what it feels like to struggle with addiction, to feel lost, and to wonder if there is any hope left. But the Lord never gave up on me. He reached down into my darkness, changed my life, and gave me a new purpose.
Today, by the grace of God, I am five years sober and living my life serving Him! My past does not define me. My testimony is a reminder that no matter how far you have fallen, Jesus is always there, ready to love you, forgive you, and help you begin again.
God has placed a special calling on my heart to help the homeless, the lost, and those who are stuck in addiction. I want to reach people who are hurting, struggling, and feeling forgotten. I want them to know that they are loved, that their lives matter, and that there is still hope for them. I want to share the love of Jesus with them and let them know that no matter what they have been through, they are never too far gone for God's grace.

Carrying light into the darkest places.
For most of my life, I was trapped in the darkness of addiction—as both a user and a dealer—reaching the point of complete brokenness with nowhere left to turn. Six years ago, God met me at my absolute lowest and saved my life behind prison walls. It was there that I finally surrendered my heart to Him and allowed Him to begin rebuilding my life through the people He placed along my path.
Delivered from darkness into the light, my life has been completely restored. Today, I am blessed with a beautiful wife, three wonderful children, a great job, and the best brothers anyone could ask for. Having been forgiven much, I know I owe much, and I love much. Through Recovery Shows Up, my mission is to carry that same light into the darkest places—to show others a better way, to offer a listening ear to their stories, and to give all the glory to God.

“My mission is to be the light for those who feel they’ve lost it.”
My name is Nicole Jamison. I do not have a story of addiction, but what I do have is how God blessed me, helped me, guided me. I was a single mom of three precious babies with no idea how I would make it. It was many nights of crying to God to help me make it through. In October of 2022, I lost my Aunt, who was my bestfriend. I tried to heal my way, it wasn't enough. July of 2023, I lost a man that was the world to me. He was there and knew the battles only God knew. Then Jesus found me on a floor, lost, crying, and feeling of no way out. God put faith back in and put it on my heart to give my faith to others. With Recovery Shows up Hope Shows up, my mission is to be the light for those who feel they've lost it. Giving back to others and doing what God has put on me to do. Give faith and hope to others.

Being the person he once needed.
For many years, addiction kept me from recognizing and answering the calling God had placed on my life. I knew what it felt like to be lost, to need help, and not know where to turn. Yet even in my darkest moments, God was preparing my pain to become a purpose and transforming my past into a pathway for serving others.
Today, I have dedicated my life to being the person I once needed—not only someone who offers help, but a true friend who will walk beside others through their struggles. That calling led me to Recovery Shows Up. Hope Shows Up. I want my life to remind people that they are not alone, that recovery is possible, and that hope often arrives through someone willing to show up and stay.
SHOWING UP TOGETHER
Connection starts with showing up.

MATTHEW 25:40 · ESV“And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’”
In this passage, Jesus connects caring for people who are hungry, thirsty, without shelter, in need of clothing, sick, or imprisoned with serving Him. His words call us to see people with compassion and put love into action.
At Recovery Shows Up Hope Shows Up, we live out that calling through essential supplies, encouragement, and connections to recovery resources. We want every person we meet to know they have God-given worth, they are loved, and their story isn’t over. This is what being the hands and heart of Jesus means to us.
